Noah Brier

Noah Brier is the Head of Strategy of New York’s Barbarian Group, a digital marketing company with clients including Allstate, Barclay’s Bank, Clinique, Lexus, Starwood Hotels and many other big names. He was recently named one of the 100 most creative in business by Fast Company. A self-confessed geek, Brier is fascinated by the metaphor the internet offers, treating “every encounter with information as a potential web waiting to be untangled”.

Previous to the Barbarian Group, Brier was a strategist at Naked Communications. He served as a creative lead at Renegade Marketing after writing for the American Demographics Magazine on the topics of culture, media and demographic trends.

Brier is the creator of Brand Tags, an innovative brand experiment website that displays a logo and invites the user to submit the first word coming to mind. Each brand has a featured word cloud in which the descriptive words used more often appear larger. The site now boasts 1.5 million tags for almost 900 brands.
